Award-winning Australian songwriter Steve Lane returns with new album 'Where The Rivers Meet' in October 2025 - The album features the solid and steady input from long-term drummer and good friend, David Williams, plus Steve's son Kai and daughter Neneh making it, once again, a family affair. 'Where The Rivers Meet' is released by Scottish label Last Night From Glasgow and features a couple of gems that owe their gestation to time spent in Beetroot Studio with brothers John and Stephen Douglas of the legendary Glaswegian band, The Trashcan Sinatras.

Two other tracks on the album ('The Dying Age' and 'She Waits') also had their genesis in the Ayrshire studio under the watchful eye and fine-tuned ears of Stuart MacLeod. But the real trump card for 'Where the Rivers Meet' was the addition of ARIA award winning producer Darren Seltmann, who co-founded Australian band The Avalanches and co-produced their acclaimed 2001 debut album 'Since I Left You'. Darren and Steve's collaboration saw ideas and creative sparks fired back and forth, and the boundaries of the songs pushed and fine-tuned. The album was then artfully mastered by Grammy nominated Melbourne wizard Joe Carra.

Steve Lane's previous album 'The Great Imposter' reached #8 on the UK Vinyl Album Charts, #5 on the Scottish Charts, #2 on the UK indie charts.
