Ragana and Drowse unite on Ash Souvenir, a collaborative album born from shared grief and a deep connection to the Pacific Northwest. Commissioned by Roadburn Festival 2024 and recorded at the legendary Unknown studio in Anacortes, Washington, the record draws inspiration from the eruption of Mount St. Helens and its lingering emotional and physical aftermath — a region blanketed in ash and memory.

Across four long-form pieces, Ash Souvenir blends Ragana’s emotionally charged black metal with Drowse’s glacial textures, shifting between moments of hushed vulnerability and immense, engulfing sound. The trio’s collective voice captures the tension between devastation and renewal, culminating in a single, devastating refrain: “there is nothing to lose.”
