Formed from the broken dreams & wasted years of Helsinki's underground rock-scene, Lovers Left Alive plays rock and roll influenced by Finnish street rock, the 'Mats, Detroit's motor city rockers & motown junks, New York's early CBGB-scene and 80's London's Glam Punk-era. Kicking out the jams since 2020, Lovers Left Alive are living out the 20's with their ragged, raw & sloppy rock and roll brilliance, shot straight from their hips. Heaven only knows what comes after âHow..â Itâs a bittersweet, moving and unapologetic result of years of unconditional love that never lost its spark, brought to you by one of the most stubborn group of rock and roll-lovers - a wild bunch of (un)ironically byronic antiheroes who managed to stay alive through their 20âs, stubbornly kicking each other above their own expectation and flaws. Packed with countless crackdowns, bedroom talks and broken dreams (and some young hearts), âHow..â is a collection of years of struggle that only managed to push this band of ragged, raw and sloppy rock and roll brilliance to the top of Helsinkiâs underground rock and roll scene, ready to make the final leap to every direction, carried on by the many newfound lovers and admirers whom the band found on their path towards to some sort of cult stardom. âHow..â is not an album that lasts in hearts and memory for a month or two, itâs a record that will be found again and again after 2, 5, 20 or even 50 years. The bandâs growing reputation as a wild, loud and sweaty tongue-in-cheek live act has made them untouchable headliners of Helsinkiâs blooming underground rock-circuit, playing for sold-out crowds and packed audiences in smaller clubs & venues of downtown Helsinki and elsewhere, also being no strangers to motorcycle parties. Their chaotic dual vocals, flying guitars and jaw-dropping groove-section have also taken the band to play abroad in Norway and the UK, with Sweden following this fall.
