The Violet Flame, the sixteenth studio album by the BRIT and Ivor Novello award winning duo Erasure (Vince Clarke and Andy Bell), reissued on limited edition white vinyl via Mute.
Originally released in 2014, The Violet Flame was produced by Richard X (known for his work with The Human League, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and M.I.A). The album quickly made an impact, climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and securing a spot in the UK Top 20. From the moment it hit the shelves, listeners were drawn into that empowering sense of optimism, with the albumās title, The Violet Flame, taking its name from a spiritual term for transformation of negative energy into positive energy, freedom and forgiveness.
