Aime is now back with his third album 'Rev', his most ambitious and conceptually complex project to date. 'Rev' carries multiple meanings: 'revving the engine', revolution, revenge, revelation, and 'rĂȘve', the French word for dream. These interpretations are woven into the album's narrative tapestry, which unfolds in the way of a modern myth. The songs, thought up as short stories, trace an imaginary world somewhere in between dreams and nightmares, inhabited by symbols and diabolical alter-egos reminiscent of the great figures of dark romanticism and fantasy such as Edgar Allan Poe, James Joyce and Shirley Jackson.
